The Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT), offers an online application system for prospective students for the academic year 2024-2025. To apply online, follow these steps:
Step 1: Begin the application process by clicking the “New Application” button on the CUT website’s homepage to sign up for the online application system.
Step 2: Complete the application form with all the necessary information and upload certified copies of your identity documents and academic records.
Step 3: After filling in all required fields and uploading the necessary documents, submit your application.
Step 4: The non-refundable application fee can be paid through one of the following methods:
- Online payment via the CUT website.
- Direct deposit at a CUT-approved bank.
- EFT payment using the provided CUT banking details.
Please note that international applicants cannot receive a refund for the R500 application fee.
Step 5: After submitting your application and paying the fee, you can track its status through the CUT online application system. The university will also inform you of your application status through the online system.
Important points to consider:
- South African candidates should pay R100 for their application.
- The application fee for international applicants is R500.
- Applications for the 2024 academic year are open from April 1 to September 30 in 2023.
- Late applications will not be considered.
- It is advisable to submit applications for a maximum of two study options.
- CUT will not be held responsible for inaccurate information provided by applicants.
- Accepted candidates will need to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure their place at the university.
