For admission in the year 2024, applications at Regenesys are open from May 1 and will close on August 31. Tuition fees for various degrees range from R32,120 to R55,770, and an additional estimated amount of R6,050 is required for books and stationery. It’s essential to note that these fees do not cover travel expenses or pocket money.

• To be eligible for admission, candidates must be at least 18 years old, in good standing at their home school, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. GPAs below 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and might require additional documentation, as specified in the section below. Applicants should be either sophomores, juniors, or Senior standing at the start of the program. Students applying to the University of Cape Town (UCT) must have completed at least three semesters of coursework, though first-year sophomores may also apply. It’s important to consult with an IES Abroad Representative for further information, as students with sophomore standing may have limited eligibility for some local university courses.

Regenesys Business School Admission Requirement

• When applying to a program at Regenesys Business School, the applicant must provide their Grade 11 and most recent Grade 12 results. Failure to include these documents may result in delays in the application process. It is crucial to keep this requirement in mind during the entire application period. Additionally, all attached documents must be certified copies of the originals.

Please note that once you have submitted your application form, you will have the option to change your application status.

To apply, you need to submit the following documents:

• An Original Senior Certificate or Statement of Results
• An Original Identity Document
• A Certificate of Conduct and Academic Record (Original)
• Biographical information sheet
• Indemnity form
• Confirmation of acceptance
• Surety form (if required)
• Residence form (if necessary)
• Study permit (for international students only)
• Proof of medical coverage (for international students only)
• Passport ID
• Clearance letter from the international office (for international students only)
• SAQA evaluation (if required)
• Evaluation from the Matriculation Board (if necessary)

Please note

• You can expect to receive the acceptance notification by May 30. However, if you have provided an email address, you may receive the news even earlier. Afterward, the outstanding fees should be settled by June 4, 2014. Once you’ve made the payment, please scan and send the proof of payment to international@dut.ac.za.

• To register for the online system at https://regenesys.net/, use your email address and set up a password. Subsequently, an email containing a link to activate your account will be sent to you.
• Click the link in the email to activate your registration. Upon activation, you will be redirected to ROSS. Here, click the Admission/Other button (ensure you choose the correct button). You will then be able to enter your first-step login and password.
• Complete the application process, and don’t forget to click the button to accept the terms and submit your application.
• After submitting the application, you need to pay the R100 application fee. The system offers various payment options. Please email us the deposit slip and use your application number as a reference while making the payment.
• Once you’ve completed all the above steps, we will process your application and provide you with a student number and login information.

What does the selection process entail?

To ensure verification and auditing purposes, applicants currently in 12th grade may need to provide certified copies of their final 11th-grade results.

• Regenesys Business School does not accept the General Education Development (GED) test for any of its undergraduate curricular requirements. The GED is no longer recognized by Universities in South Africa (USAf) and is not considered equivalent to a grade 12 qualification in South Africa (NSC/IEB/SACAI). Therefore, applicants who have completed the GED and intend to pursue an undergraduate degree at Regenesys are advised to register for and complete a grade 12 NSC/IEB/SACAI or an international equivalent qualification.

Steps on How to Get Your Regenesys Business School APS Score

The core of the selection process involves calculating your APS score, which considers various factors such as your previous grade 12 score, school attended, gender, financial stability, race, and other relevant aspects.

Before applying, please take the time to check if you meet both the legal and college-specific admission requirements, as well as the required APS Score for the qualification(s) you wish to pursue.

All new applicants are required to upload certain essential documents, including:

• Sworn translations of non-English or non-Afrikaans documents, if applicable.
• Copy of your school qualifications, such as a Senior Certificate.
• Copy of your official tertiary academic record (if applicable), though internet copies will not be accepted.
• Copy of your ID document (for students in the Republic of South Africa) or ID/passport (for international students).
• Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable).

How do I get my APS?

Initially, you need to obtain your final Matric assessment endorsement. Your APS is then determined through a point system that takes into account the marks you achieved in your top seven Matric subjects (refer to diagram 1 below).
