In the academic year 2024-2025, the University of South Africa (UNISA) establishes specific application dates and deadlines, which are accessible on its official website.
For undergraduate qualifications, the academic year consists of two semesters. Applications for the first semester open in August and close in September. For the second semester, applications open in January and close in February.
Regarding postgraduate qualifications, UNISA offers three application periods annually. The first period is in January/February, the second period is in April/May, and the third period is in August/September. - As of now, applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2023 academic year have closed. However, prospective students can apply for the next academic year. UNISA will reopen or accept the Online Application Form for Admission to the 2024-2025 academic year starting from 22 November 2023, with the closing date set for 7 December 2023 for specific limited undergraduate qualifications, honors degrees, and postgraduate diplomas.
