Prospective candidates interested in pursuing a diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate program at IIE Varsity College can now proceed with their admission applications. The institution has established specific closing dates for the admission portal and registration process. Since there are limited available spots for admission, it is advisable to apply early, as late applications will not be accepted.

For each desired course of study, IIE Varsity College sets a deadline for application submission, commonly known as the closing date. In South Africa, universities and colleges typically set submission deadlines between August and October each year.

Dates for the 2024 and 2025 IIE Varsity College Online Application:

The Varsity College Online Application is accessible from July 1 to November 30. Therefore, prospective students are encouraged to submit an online application (Hard-Copy) early for the 2024 academic year.

Before applying to Varsity College, you must meet the following requirements:

An endorsement on your NSC or NCV granting admission to bachelor’s degree programs or an equivalent qualification.
Fulfillment of all minimum requirements for admission to the program you wish to study. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission, considering the limited spots available for each program.
Proficiency in the chosen UFS language of instruction (Afrikaans or English) at a minimum of level 4 (or 50%). This requirement applies to specific programs.
Successful completion of certain school subjects with a minimum level of achievement, as outlined in the faculty-specific admission requirements section. It also lists the required achievement levels and compulsory subjects for each program.

Required documents for Varsity College application include:

Certified copy of your ID or passport.
Certified Grade 11 exam results or your National Senior, Matric, or IEB Certificate (if already completed 12th grade).
Certified copies of academic records and degree certificates if you attended another university.
Certified copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable).

How to Apply for Online Varsity College:

The Varsity College offers a single online application portal for both new and returning students. Proof of payment of the non-refundable R200.00 application fee is required.

For hard-copy applications, consider the following:

Postgraduate applicants have two distinct applications.
Hardcopy applicants must pay R120 for the application.

Late applications for postgraduates will be accepted until December 31 with an additional R250 application fee.
Your application must include certified copies of the required documents, including the deposit slip.
If you need accommodation, indicate it in your application for student housing.
