CPUT has different admission requirements for various applicants.

If you are a Cambridge system user, please follow these guidelines:

Pass at least two out of the five IGCSE and HIGCSE subjects, all at the HIGCSE level.
Obtain a passing grade in the essential language of instruction at the college (English or Afrikaans).
Achieve specific passing grades: A, B, or C for IGCSE, and 1 or 3 for HIGCSE.
Any additional qualifications from senior school will be evaluated accordingly.
