CPUT registration dates for 2023-2024 and 2024-2025

Registration for undergraduate first-year students:

• Online and off-campus registration will be available from Monday, January 2023, to Friday, February 2023. Students who have received final admission and passed their 12th-grade exams by 2020 or earlier can start classes as early as January 2023 or as late as February 2023. For candidates who took the final exams for Grade 12 in 2022 and are awaiting results, the final review of the 2023 NSC results will take place from January to February 2024. The official results from the Department of Basic Education and Training will be compared with any NSC results. An automated SMS will be sent to the mobile phone number provided on the university application to confirm acceptance. You can also check the acceptance status by visiting http://www.cput.ac.za/study/track, which provides up-to-date information and immediate status updates. Please note that you have 48 hours to register after receiving the automated SMS. If you are unable to attend, the next eligible student may take your place.

Registration for returning students (Undergraduate Studies, including Advanced Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma programs):

Online and off-campus academic registrations without assistance: January to May 2023. Assistance via the Internet for both on- and off-campus academic registrations: January to May 2023.
