CPUT application deadlines for the upcoming year are as follows:
It is recommended to begin the application process as early as possible. Applications can be submitted from May to September.
Cape Peninsula University of Technology Admission Requirements:
All new applicants are required to upload the necessary documents, which typically include the following:
- A copy of your academic transcript, such as your Senior Certificate, and transcripts from any previous postsecondary institutions you have attended (online copies are not accepted).
- For documents written in languages other than English or Afrikaans, a copy of your marriage license or divorce decree (whichever is applicable) is required. International students should provide a copy of their passport or identification.
How to Apply for CPUT Online in the 2024-2025 Academic Year:
The CPUT admissions process consists of seven steps:
- Step one: Select a qualification.
- Step two: Obtain an application.
- Step three: Collect or upload any additional or late documents.
- Step four: Submit the completed application.
- Step five: Pay the application fee.
- Step six: Send in the completed form and supporting documents.
- Step seven: Check the status of your application and follow up accordingly. Application Fees:
Before processing the application form, applicants are required to pay an application fee of R100. Each applicant must retain the original proof of payment and include a copy with their application. NOTE: A late application fee of R150 will be charged for applications received in October. CPUT accepts three payment methods:
- Cash payments in person at the Cashiers’ Office of the preferred campus.
