How to Apply SATS online 2024-2025

The admission process and prerequisites for graduate, undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate programs at the South African Theological Seminary (SATS) for the academic year 2024–2025 are detailed below. SATS welcomes applications from eligible high school graduates, non-school graduates, and graduates of recognized institutions to apply for both full-time and part-time Postgraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic year. We earnestly encourage qualified candidates to submit their applications within the online application period, which spans from July 1 to November 30, 2024, using the designated application form.

To complete the application, all online applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R 120.00. The necessary banking details will be provided for the deposit, along with the submission of the deposit slip and other required documents.

While SATS will consider late applications, this is only possible if there are available spaces in the desired programs. It is essential to note that each program at SATS has limited slots, and therefore, it is advisable to apply within the application cycle to ensure consideration and processing of the application.

Certified copies of all of your documentation must be sent together with your online application. This means that a Commissioner of Oaths must affix his signature to each needed document to certify that it is an exact replica of the original. Only these certified copies need to be uploaded to the online form. You might go to your local police station or speak with your pastor if he or she is a Commissioner of Oaths. Please ask your pastor to confirm that the document you give is a true copy of the original if you reside in a nation where this is not the custom.
Enrollments begin seven days after the application is received.

When you choose a graduate program, you must pay an enrollment fee (see pricing) to enroll in the program. This can be paid for online or by sending money directly to the SATS bank account.

Important:

If at all feasible, please attempt to pay using a credit card if you are outside of South Africa. Any other option will be quite expensive, and you will be liable for it. For instance, it costs R235 every time you use a bank to send money abroad.
