UL’s Requirements
To be eligible, the applicant must be at least 18 years old. You should have a good reputation at your previous school. Grades on a 4.0 scale should be 3.0 or higher (GPAs below 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may require additional documentation as outlined below). You should be a sophomore, junior, or senior when the program begins. Candidates for UCT must have completed at least three semesters of college (first-semester sophomores can apply). There may be certain courses at a nearby college that sophomores are not allowed to enroll in. Please contact your IES Abroad Representative for additional details. - *Note that you must meet or exceed the listed admission criteria. Only individuals with a bachelor’s degree may submit an application.
- 1.1 Bachelor’s degrees that do not meet the National Senior Certificate requirement are exempt (NSC).
To be accepted into any university degree offered by the College of Limpopo, prospective NSC students must meet the following requirements:
- Achieve at least three levels of achievement in life orientation (3). The university’s language policy specifies that English must be used for both learning and teaching, and proficiency levels must be at least three (3). Minimum achievement expectations in specific subjects as stated in the curriculum for each faculty, taking into account that: For degree programs, four 20-credit subjects must be completed with a minimum NSC achievement level of four (4).
