Self-registration via the online platform:

We highly recommend utilizing our online registration portal, which facilitates self-registration for the majority of students. You can apply for the programs listed in the provided list. Self-registration can be done through my.sun.ac.za using any computer with an internet connection. Students without valid proofs of admission, such as matriculation exemption certificates, advisory results, or post-matriculation proofs of eligibility, or those who have not been readmitted to the university, will not be granted self-registration privileges. Please note that all students who registered in 2023 were automatically readmitted for 2024 based on an institutional decision that no student would face academic exclusion in 2024.

Who are the debtors with outstanding fees on their university student accounts?

Students will be able to proceed with self-registration provided that all remaining requirements are met, the student account is in good standing, and the initial enrollment payment is fully settled with the Student Charges Division. Who are the newly admitted postgraduate students who will commence their first postgraduate program in 2024?

Students enrolling in special programs, either as special students or through program transfers, with academic records that are not classified as a “pass year.”
