The following are the general admission/application requirements for UMP:

• An email address is required to complete the application. South African applicants must provide an identification number, while international applicants must provide a visa number. After receiving your UMP student number, you need to pay the application fee. Ensure that you have followed the instructions while submitting your documents. To be admitted to UMP, you must meet the specific admission requirements for the chosen qualification. If you do not meet these requirements, consider pursuing alternative qualifications or enrolling in a bridging program that allows you to register for a limited number of modules during your first year. ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) School of Tomorrow 12th-graders may no longer be accepted at UMP. Some UMP qualifications have limited space, and even if you meet the general and/or specific admission requirements, you may not be offered a spot for the 2024 academic year.

Graduate Program Admission Criteria

• Completed Application Form Official College Transcript A minimum 3.0 GPA is required for regular admission. A minimum 2.7 GPA is required for academic probation. International students are required to take the TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 90.

Undergraduate Program Admission Criteria

• Completed application and official transcripts from all colleges and/or high schools.
• Transfer students with less than 60 transferable semester credits or 72 transferable quarter credits (proof of high school graduation) must provide a certified high school transcript or diploma.
• A minimum 2.3 GPA is required for regular admission. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required for academic probation.

SAT or ACT scores are recommended.

• Students without the required transfer courses or SAT/ACT scores are required to take a placement test. International students are required to take the TOEFL iBT.
