NWU Online Registration Dates

The online registration period for the NWU orientation (R&O) program is as follows:

NWU Online Registration Procedure for South African Students

To register online at NWU, follow these steps:

Visit the NWU website at studies.nwu.ac.za to enroll.
Log in using your student ID and password.
Select “Registration” and then choose “Self-Registration.” Click “Next” after selecting your qualification.
Complete the “Pre-requisite Test” if applicable. The available modules for registration will be displayed.
Select the modules you wish to register for and utilize the online faculty registration assistance tool.
Provide accurate personal information and contact details by selecting the “Personal Information” option (POPIA).

After accepting the contract’s terms, a notification will confirm the successful registration.

An email containing proof of registration will be sent to the provided email address.

Online Registration for International Students at NWU

Please note the following guidelines for international student registration:

All applicants must consult with the Global Engagement Office before registration. Registrations will not be accepted without prior discussion.
Contact the Global Engagement Office through electronic communication and include the following information in a single email:
Subject fields: Student number, registration year, level, and campus.
- Attach color-scanned copies of your green identification card (if applicable) and any other documents granting permission to reside in South Africa.
- Health insurance proof is required for PRP holders. Provide documentation of MMR, meningitis, and yellow fever vaccinations if necessary.
- Provide a list of vaccinations received during the previous registration year. MMR is required for life, and meningitis should be updated every five years.
- Confirmation of your visa application acceptance.

By following these guidelines, you can complete the online registration process at NWU for the 2024-2025 academic years.
