SATS Application form 2024-2025

The South African Theological Seminary (SATS) provides an overview of the application process and admission requirements for graduate, undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate programs for the 2024-2025 academic year. SATS welcomes applications from eligible high school graduates, non-school graduates, and graduates from recognized institutions for both full-time and part-time Postgraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic year. Qualified candidates are invited to apply.

Application Open and Closing Date 2024-2025:

The online application period for SATS for the 2024 academic year is scheduled from July 1 to November 30. Prospective students are encouraged to submit their applications early using the provided application form (Hard-Copy) to secure their spot.

Application Fee:

All candidates applying online are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R 120.00. The fee must be deposited using the given bank information, and the deposit slip should be uploaded along with the other necessary documents.

Late Applications for 2024:

SATS will only consider late applications if there are available spots in the desired programs. As each program admits only a limited number of students, it is advisable to apply within the application cycle to ensure that your application is considered and processed by the school.

Documents Required:

Before submitting the online application, applicants must be aware of the following important information:

Certified copies of all documents are necessary when filling out the online application. Each required document must be stamped and verified by a Commissioner of Oaths to confirm its authenticity as a true copy of the original. The online form accepts only these certified copies for upload. If the practice of Commissioners of Oaths is not common in your country, you may have your pastor verify the genuineness of the documents you are sending.
Enrollments are typically processed within seven days from the date of application receipt.

An enrollment fee is required for all undergraduate program participants. The fee can be paid online or through a direct deposit into the SATS bank account.

Important Note for International Applicants:

If you are applying from outside South Africa, it is recommended to use a credit card for payment if possible. Other payment methods for foreign transactions may incur additional costs, and you will be responsible for these charges. For instance, each foreign payment made through a bank costs R235.

Applicants who have already submitted an application form should not fill out another one. For application reprocessing, they can contact Sharon at sharon@sats.edu.za.
