Here are the general affirmation/application prerequisites for the South African Seminary Theological School:

• You will need an email address to complete the application.
• South African applicants must provide an ID number, while foreign applicants should provide their passport numbers.
• After receiving your student number from SATS, you will be required to pay the application fee.
• Ensure that your documents are scanned as per the provided instructions.
• If you meet the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification, you will be admitted to SATS.
• If you do not meet these requirements, you may consider other qualifications or, if eligible, an extended program with limited module registration in your first year.
• SATS may no longer accept 12th-grade graduates of the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) School of Tomorrow.
• Some SAT qualifications have limited spots available. Meeting the general and/or specific admission requirements for a qualification does not guarantee admission for the 2024 academic year.

SATS Application Requirements 2024-2025:

Before submitting your online application, please review the following important information:

• Certified copies of all your documents are required when filling out the online application. A Commissioner of Oaths must verify each document with a signature to confirm its authenticity as a true copy of the original. The online form only accepts these certified copies for upload. If your pastor is a Commissioner of Oaths, they can verify the documents, or you can visit your local police station. If this practice is not common in your country, kindly have your pastor verify the genuineness of the documents you send.
• Enrollments are typically processed within seven days from the date of application receipt.
• If you encounter any difficulties with the online application, please contact the Enrollments Office at sharon@sats.edu.za.
• An enrollment fee (see pricing) is required for all undergraduate program participants. You can make the payment online or through a direct deposit into the SATS bank account.

IMPORTANT: If you are outside of South Africa, it is advisable to pay with a credit card if possible. Other payment methods may result in additional costs, and you will be responsible for these charges. For example, each foreign payment through a bank costs R235.
