SATS online application dates 2024-2025

The South African Theological Seminary (SATS) has commenced its admission process for candidates interested in pursuing diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate programs at the institution. It is important to note the specified closing dates for the admission portal and the registration process. Due to the limited number of available slots, it is advisable to submit your application as early as possible, as late applications will not be considered.

To gain admission into any desired course, the institution has set a submission deadline, also known as the closing date. Typically, the submission deadlines for universities and colleges in South Africa fall between August and October each year.

Certified copies of all required documents are necessary when completing the online application. This means each required document must be stamped and verified by a Commissioner of Oaths to confirm its authenticity as a true copy of the original. The online form only accepts these certified copies for upload. If Commissioners of Oaths are not readily available in your country, you may approach your pastor or visit your local police station. If this is not common in your country, please have your pastor verify the genuineness of the documents you are sending.
Enrollments are typically processed within seven days from the date of application receipt.

An enrollment fee (see pricing) is required for all undergraduate program participants. This fee can be paid online or through a direct deposit into the SATS bank account.

Important Note for International Applicants:

If you are applying from outside South Africa, it is recommended to pay with a credit card if possible. Other payment methods for foreign transactions may result in additional costs, and you will be responsible for these charges. For example, each foreign payment made through a bank costs R235.
