SATS online Prospectus 2024-2025

The prospectus of the South African Theological Seminary (SATS) contains comprehensive information about the institution’s admission process, application procedures, registration details, available courses, and contact information. It is usually provided in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF) formats.

The main purpose of the SAT’s Prospectus is to guide prospective undergraduate and graduate students who are seeking admission to the institution. It serves as a helpful resource for selecting the right program of interest and provides essential guidance on how to submit an effective application to SATS.

Application Period for 2024-2025:

The online application period for the South African Theological Seminary is open from July 1 to November 30 for the 2024 academic year. Prospective students are strongly advised to submit their applications early using the provided application form (Hard-Copy).

Application Fee:

A non-refundable application fee of R 120.00 is required for all candidates applying online. Please make the deposit using the provided bank details and ensure to upload the deposit slip along with other necessary documents.

Late Applications for 2024:

SATS will only consider late applications if there are openings in the desired programs. As each program has limited available seats, it is recommended to apply within the specified application cycle to increase the chances of acceptance and processing by the school.

Documents needed to apply to South African Theological Seminary

Before you submit your online application, please take note of the following essential information:

Certified copies of all your documents are required when filling out the online application. Each required document must be stamped and verified by a Commissioner of Oaths to confirm its authenticity as a true copy of the original. The online form only accepts these certified copies for upload. If your pastor is a Commissioner of Oaths, you may approach them for verification, or you can visit your local police station. If this practice is not common in your country, kindly ask your pastor to verify that the documents you are sending are genuine copies of the originals.
Enrollments are typically processed within seven days from the date of receiving the application.

An enrollment fee (see pricing) is required for all participants in undergraduate programs. You can make this payment online or through a direct deposit into the SATS bank account.

IMPORTANT: If you are applying from outside South Africa, it is advisable to pay with a credit card if possible. Other payment methods may incur additional costs, and you will be responsible for these charges. For example, each foreign payment made through a bank costs R235.

If you wish to apply for a second qualification but have already completed one at SATS, please get in touch with the institution for further guidance.
