UP Online application fee 2024-2025

The University of Pretoria (UP) provides a waiver for application fees to students whose household income is equal to or lower than R150 000 per annum for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Online applicants are required to upload proof of income during STEP 12 of the online application process. This documentation will serve as proof of payment, allowing you to verify and submit your application form. Please be aware that these documents will be verified.

Application Fee: For the 2024-2025 academic year, a non-refundable application fee of R300 (30 US Dollars) is required when submitting your study application.

If your household income exceeds R150 000 per annum, you have the following payment options:

Online credit card payment: You can pay the application fee as part of the online application submission using a valid credit card (Master, Visa, American Express, or Diners Club) with sufficient funds. Ensure that you enter the correct details for a successful transaction.

Please note that the online application system only accepts payments with valid credit card information and sufficient funds.

Alternative payment mechanisms: You can use Electronic Funds Transfer or make a bank deposit into the University of Pretoria’s bank account. When making such deposits, please include your Online Study Application Number (typically in the form T1234567) as the payment reference.
