- All other programs: September 30th
Application Fees for UKZN
- SA citizen: R240
- International student: R300
- Late application fees: R465 for SA citizens, R575 for international students
Requirements for UKZN
Please ensure that you submit the following documents if applicable:
- A valid copy of your passport or ID
- Your National Senior/Matric Certificate, O/A Levels, or relevant school-leaving qualification must be submitted as a certified copy.
- If you are an international applicant, you must provide documentation proving your eligibility to pursue a degree at a South African university from a South African university (formerly known as HESA). Information regarding the undergraduate overview is also included.
- If you have attended multiple universities, certified copies of your academic records, conduct certificate, and degree certificate(s) are required.
- International applicants who do not speak English must provide evidence of their English language proficiency.
- Degrees obtained from foreign universities will be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) (outside South Africa).
- For those applying for a master’s or doctoral degree, a research proposal and proposed title for your dissertation are necessary.
- International students wishing to study in South Africa must have a valid study visa.
- Before applying online, please ensure that you have read the requirements provided above.
- Before submitting your application, please ensure that you have all the necessary HESA/SAQA documentation.
- When paying the application fee, please use the APPN reference followed by your student number.
- Please allow the system 24 to 48 hours to process your payment.
