UKZN online application dates 2024-2025
Between 2024 and 2025, UKZN will accept online applications. The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) has announced admission deadlines for the upcoming academic year. The specific online application dates for UKZN in the 2024-2025 period can be found on this page.
Application deadlines for UKZN are as follows:
- MBChB: June 30th
- All other programs: September 30th
Application fees for UKZN are as follows:
- SA citizen: R240
- International student: R300
- Late application fees: R465 for South African residents and R575 for international students
Requirements for UKZN:
- Submit a certified copy of your passport or ID
- Present a certified copy of your National Senior/Matric Certificate, O/A Levels, or equivalent school-leaving qualification
- If you are an international applicant, provide evidence of your eligibility to enroll in degree programs at South African institutions through South African Universities (formerly known as HESA). The undergraduate prospectus contains further information.
- Include certified copies of your academic transcript, conduct certificate, and degree certificate (if applicable) from previous universities attended.
- International applicants from non-English speaking countries must provide proof of English language proficiency.
- Degrees obtained from foreign universities will be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
- When applying for a master’s or doctoral degree, provide a proposed title for your dissertation or thesis, as well as a research proposal.
- International students studying in South Africa must have a valid study visa.
- Before applying online, make sure you have read the provided requirements.
- Ensure you have all the necessary HESA/SAQA documentation before submitting your application.
- Use the APPN reference followed by your student number when paying the application fee.
- Allow the system 24 to 48 hours to process your payment.
