Prospective students of the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) are encouraged to access the information and complete the online application form or download it from the school’s website. Every student who wishes to pursue a new qualification at UKZN must submit an online application. The online application window for UKZN is currently open.

First-time applicants to the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), including students pursuing specific programs or new certificates, those who have previously applied but were not accepted, or those who were accepted but did not register, as well as students seeking to continue their undergraduate studies after completing another degree or an advanced certificate program.

Registration deadlines for UKZN are as follows:

MBChB: June 30th
All other programs: September 30th.

Registration fees for UKZN are as follows:

SA citizen: R240
International student: R300
Late application fee for SA citizens: R465
Late application fee for international students: R575.

Before registering, ensure the following:

You have received a firm offer of admission to your desired degree.
You have obtained financial clearance.
You have cleared any holds on your student account as per the university’s regulations and procedures.

To register online:

Complete all pre-registration requirements.
Visit the sc.ukzn.ac.za website.
Log in using your student ID and password.
Select “Register on I-Enabler” from the administrative page and click “Proceed.”
On the left side of the screen, click “UKZN web registration” and follow the prompts for each stage.
If you make a mistake, choose “Drop Subject” to start over or select “Restart Cycle” to modify the previous selection or “Previous” to return to the previous screen.
New students should provide their ID book to Gamble with Management Services to receive their student cards.

Please be aware that the deadlines for registering for sessions and paying registration fees are still in effect.
