• Admissions for the 2024 academic year open on May 1 and close on August 31.

• South African citizens must pay a non-refundable application fee of R220, while international applicants must pay R275. The application fee must be paid by October 31 for your application to be considered. Late application fees are applicable, with R440 for South African applicants and international applicants.

• Both international and transfer students are eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted online or by downloading the application form from the CAO website. The required documents include an Identity Document, diploma or degree certificate (if available), academic records from other tertiary institutions, proof of payment of the application fee, and matriculated results/certificates.

Foreign students must in addition provide:

• Foreign students must additionally provide a valid passport, study permit, SAQA verification certificate, and proof of financial means (such as bank statements, bursaries, or travelers’ cheques) as specified on the CAO website.

Apply online

• To register for the online system at https://www.varsitycollege.co.za/, use your email address and create a password. Once you’ve done that, an email will be sent to you containing a link to activate your account.
• To activate your registration, simply click on the provided link. After that, you’ll be redirected to ROSS, where you need to click on the Admission/Other buttons (ensure you select the correct button). This step is crucial to proceed. You’ll then gain access to your first-step login and password.
• Once you’ve completed your application, make sure to click the button to accept the terms and submit it. Following submission, you’ll need to pay the R100 application fee. The system offers various payment options.
• When making the payment, kindly email us the deposit slip and use your application number as a reference.
• After successfully completing the steps mentioned above, we will process your application and provide you with a student number and login details.
